The fall Kentucky and Ohio shows were successes and we were pleased with results at both shows resulting in ribbons and banners. We were especially proud of Nina Roberts' (one of the 4H students from Heatherbrook) who earned one of the special belt buckles studded with rubies as one of the two top finalists in the judging competition at the OABA show.
Heatherbrook Farms, LLC breeds for correct conformation in fine fibered Huacayas covering a
broad range of colors. We particularly enjoy the challenge of working for higher quality fiber in black and grey alpaca
Our main breeding criteria is fine crimpy abundant fiber in our huacayas. Maintaining healthy productive alpacas with substance and bone is our priority and what we work day to day to achieve. We use micron testing, skin biopsies, current traits and genetics to help make all of our breeding decisions.
We offer 20 outstanding herdsires to meet the needs of your females. Our sires are all Champion or Champion producing males in a variety of colors and origins. Our data will help you make the best choice for your female.
We've built our herd from some of the best genetics available in colored alpacas.
