We're excited to announce an "Open Farm Day" on Saturday, August 30, 2008. 

Our staff will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  for individual farm tours and to answer any and all questions.  Our plans include a 10 a.m. session on "General Care", a grill out at noon and a 2 p.m. session on "fiber analysis". 

We would love to have you spend a couple hours or better yet the entire day with us at Heatherbrook Farms.

Heatherbrook Farms, LLC breeds for correct conformation in fine fibered Huacaya and Suri alpacas covering a broad range of colors. We particularly enjoy the challenge of working for higher quality fiber in black and grey alpacas.

Our main breeding criteria is fine crimpy abundant fiber in our huacayas and lusterous dense pencil locks in our suris. Maintaining healthy productive alpacas with substance and bone is our priority and what we work day to day to achieve. We use micron testing, skin biopsies, current traits and genetics to help make all of our breeding decisions.

 
 

We offer 19 outstanding herdsires to meet the needs of your females. Our sires are all Champion or Champion producing males in a variety of colors and origins. Our data will help you make the best choice for your female.

We've built our herd from some of the best genetics available in colored alpacas.

5% cash discount.
25% down with 1 year of 12 equal payments at 0% interest.
25% down with 2 years of 24 equal payments at prime.
25% down with 3 years of 36 equal payemnts at prime + 1%.

Our live birth guarantee is 14 days.
Any customer that purchases a female from Heatherbrook can breed any of their females to unrestricted Heatherbrook herdsires for 50% of the breeding fee.
